St Andrews, the Mecca of golf is an ancient and beautiful burgh. Legend tells that the relics of the apostle Andrew were brought to Scotland by St. Regulus who, having been shipwrecked off the Fife coast, founded a church on the site where the town now stands. St. Andrew was to become the patron saint of Scotland.
St. Andrews can be explored best on foot, the combination of Medieval, Victorian and Edwardian streets forming one of the most attractive towns in Britain. Visitors will be amazed to find famous landmarks such as the Castle, Cathedral, University and Harbour alongside a variety of shops, restaurants, theatres, museums and art galleries.
Sporting facilities in the town are second to none, with watersports, bowling, putting, tennis, swimming, squash and sea-angling amongst those catered for.
North East Fife has something for everyone, young and old alike. Whether you are planning a relaxing break or an action packed activity holiday, there's a warm welcome awaiting you.
The nearest Railway Station for the park is Leuchars with a good taxi and bus service
UPDATE 22nd SEPTMEBER 2020
In light of the first ministers statement earlier we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the restrictions experienced at home also apply whilst visiting your caravan. Please make sure that you abide by the max one household meeting indoors rule and max 6 people 2 household outdoors rule imposed by the government. This also applies to any tourer or hire caravan bookings, we will not be able to accept any arrivals that are made up of more than one household, please be mindful of this and get in touch if you are affected by the latest announcement.
We are also going to ask again that you do not invite or entertain overnight or day visitors, we had relaxed this but it has become apparent over the last few weeks that people are coming and going without registering with reception, we need to know who is onsite, even for a short time to follow track and trace guidelines. The visitor’s carpark is therefore closed until further notice.
The swimming pool is open, with restrictions, you will need to book a time with the swimming pool reception/bar staff after you have arrived onsite, no advance bookings will be accepted, max 3 families per session as we have divided the pool into 3 lanes to maintain social distance. Just when we thought there was light at the end of the tunnel we have taken a step back but hopefully with your help we can limit the spread, many thanks for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
